THE KING IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE KING

THE WEEK 11 REVIEW

ITS A LOTTERY V THE HAIRY FROG DISCO

Coaches Andy, Calum & Peter.  The founding fathers.

FANTASY PREDICTION: LOTTERY BY 17
FANTASY REALITY: DISCO BY 11.40

The Lotteries dream of claiming 5 wins in a season took another hit this week as Griffin Mark 3 stole the show with a whopping 40.40pts and handed Coach Calum another meaningless win against his oldest rival Coach Andy. The Lotteries season has fallen apart on the back of the MJD injury. That and the fact that Wallace and Miller have no-one to throw them the ball. That and the fact that Coach Reid has nullified the effectiveness of McCoy and the entire Eagles outfit. It is looking more and more likely that this is the last we will see of the Lottery in this league. An off season franchise re-boot awaits.
Coach Calum should be commended for the pick of Ingram and Ballard proved to be the most effective of the Colts backs. A rare off day for the Texans D was covered by the Griffin explosion. The Disco are back on for a .500 season. The comeback starts here?

FRENCH LEADER V POLARBEARS

Are Coach Pauls hopes of post season play melting away?

FANTASY PREDICTION: LEADER BY 3
                                          FANTASY REALITY: LEADER BY 9.58

The Leader needed a 60 yard game or TD from Davis to defeat Paul's Polarbears and send both themselves and the Swedes to the top of their respective divisions. Coach Paul informed the press that “Davis is averaging 23.5yrds over the last 4 weeks and hasn't found the endzone since week 3.” Step forward Davis and his 83 yards and 1 touchdown performance! Coach Laurent now sits atop the South on the back of a 3 game winning streak . If the Leader can come through the divisional series 1-1 they will be nailed on for their first ever visit to the post season! Coach Laurent's 7-4 comes on the back of the second toughest schedule in the league with his opponents averaging 112.90pts for my money that makes the French Leader the team of the season so far.
Coach Pauls poor second half of the season continued as he find himself looking up at a new leader in the North. It is now a very real possibility that the Polarbears could miss out on the playoffs after their record breaking start. Coach Paul has taken his share of stick in the media this campaign due his lackadaisical approach to the live draft and the resulting autopicked nature of his franchise but he has responded with a series of good calls. The diviosnal series will dictate whether Coach Paul was lucky or good.

SEVENTY NINE FC V SUPER SWEDES

Gronk has broken arm.  Coach Peter has broken heart.

FANTASY PREDICTION: SWEDES BY 7
FANTASY REALITY: SWEDES BY 4.1

Coach Keeper League hasn't done much wrong this season (unlike the pre-season where he almost brought the whole league crashing to its knees) as 79FC tippy tappy their way towards the playoffs. But what in the wide world of fantasy football was Richardson doing on the bench? Explain yourself Coach! Yes, Tom was terrific but he kept throwing the darn ball to your opponent's tight end. 79FC's four Patriots accounted for an astonishing 76.54pts, whats even more astonishing is that wasn't enough for the win.
Coach Peter's love hate relationship with Stafford continued this week as his starter was woeful against the Pack. Stafford needs to have a long hard look at himself and its not going to be pretty. Luckily for the Swedes their Coach had to good sense to secure the services of Gronkowski on draft and the big fella delivered a match winning 28.70pts. Is there another TE in fantasy capable of this kind of performance? One thing is for sure, Gronk won't be doing this again anytime soon having busted up his forearm. Gronk is forcast to out for 4 to 6 weeks or as its called in CNFLE, the rest of the season!!! On top of that we now here that McGahee has a torn MCL and fracture in his right knee and is also out for the season. This win took the Swedes to the top of the North but may also have ended their challenge!

WEST COAST MAFIA V BENCHWARMERS

Coach Cullen has been warned.

FANTASY PREDICTION: MAFIA BY 10
                                        FANTASY REALITY: WARMERS BY 26.03

Coach Cullen's frustration's continued with this disappointing loss to the yo-yoing Bench Warmers. Questions will be asked by the league's disciplinary panel over the Mafia's decision not to replace an inactive Hernandez. Unless the league receive a credible explanation Coach Cullen will receive a slap around the face with a wet fish, probably a haddock, although the use of cod has not be ruled out at this stage. The Mafia now drop 2 behind the Central's run away leaders but with the all important divisional series taking place over weeks 12 and 13 the door to the playoffs remains a jar for the Mafia.
Coach Richard would appear to have a very simple coaching philosophy. Let Rogers and the Pack D carry the load and fill the rest of the roster with whatever is available. It's a style that has somehow kept the Warmers in the hunt. A couple of wins in the divisional series and the Warmers could cause the mother of all upsets in the fiercely competitive North.

TTTTAYLOR V AUTOPICKWARRIORS

Coach Conor.

FANTASY PREDICTION: WARRIORS BY 9
FANTASY REALITY: WARRIORS BY 1.98

Coach Conor finally broke his disheartening 4 game losing streak with this ugly, ugly win over a pitiful Ttttayor. AJ Green has been the standout for the Warriors all season long and will already be penciled in on many a season 5 draft sheet. Outside of Green this game is best forgotten as quickly as possible. The win does however just about keep the Warriors in with an outside shot at the post season.
With the Disco's win against the Lottery Coach Taylor now looks favourite for season 5's number one pick in the draft. Ryan imploded, Jones has the look of a bust about him and Smith is no Smith. Ttttaylor have 1 more win left in them this season, 1 more win at best.

FEAR FACTORY V THE BONE ROCKS

Botond has been warned.

FANTASY PREDICTION: ROCKS BY 17
                                         FANTASY REALITY: ROCKS BY 72.52

The Rocks just need to hold their nerve in the upcoming divisional series to take the Central divisional title and stride purposely in to the post season for the first time in their history. With the Swedes proving the doubters wrong in the North we could be looking at an all Swedish final. It's not the first time that the Rocks have flirted with the playoffs, but never before have they held their destiny so firmly in their own hands. If they blow it from here there will only be one man to blame.
Coach Botond became the second Coach to be called before the league's disciplinary panel after fielding an in active Hawkins and this from a team on a five game win streak! The fact that the Factory roaster currently contains two kickers makes the Hawkings crime all the more heinous. Coach Botond may point to the fact that Hawkings replacement would have needed a 72.53 haul to win the match up but its a principle that's a steak here. This defeat drops the Factory to 2nd in the South and they will need to buck their ideas up or risk missing out on the post season entirely.

GOOD CALL

Coach Laurent. Jones in for Peterson. Those 11.50pts proved decisive.

BAD CALL

Coach Keeper League. Leaving Richardson on the bench. You have one of the best young running backs in the league, PLAY HIM!

ON THE BOARD

Griffin Mark 3: 226.94

Vick: 151.34

Where does the time go my friends? We have just three weeks of the regular season left and someone 10 teams remain in with a shout of the post season. The divisional series will prove decisive for many, you will need every advantage available to you. If you want that winning edge be sure to check out the week 12 preview hitting the world wide web this Sunday!

Good luck gentleman
